The roofing crew was incredibly efficient and did a great job of protecting the perimeter with tarps over shrubbery and plantings. Cleanup after job completion was excellent. Gene was on the job site throughout the work assuring that every detail was taken care of exactly as we had contracted. Gene was a pleasure to work with and very customer oriented. We choose Kendhammer A-1 Roofing and Construction because the Malarkey shingles were so highly rated. We are glad we did. Gene Gaffunder was there at every step to make sure we were satisfied with the job.
The roofing crew were there before 7 AM on a very foggy morning and didn't leave until the entire roof was in place and all was clean around the exterior.

1) they gave a reasonable, fair bid for the large roofing job. It was done well, at the bid price, with no unexpected add ons.
2) they gave me a start date, and showed up that date. The work was finished in 4 days as promised. we had one rain that occurred during the job, so they worked a very long next day to get it done on time
3) clean up after the job was meticulous.
4) workers were polite and accommodating...Especially Gene G. the project manager. He was easy to work with and fair.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Gene Graffunder who oversaw the roof installation on my old two story farmhouse. Gene was very professional and thorough as he managed a number of various job assignments simultaneously during the reroofing process. Project Repair an Asphalt Shingle Roof
The only issue I had was the home advisor app. I needed my chimney Cap replaced, which is what I wrote and I get phone calls for roof replacement.

Kendhammer roofing did a great job for us. For example, they carefully covered my plants and shrubs. With no rolling eyes or flinching.. They were respectful and played no loud music. Further, their staff were friendly and outgoing. Also, Shane drove me around to look at roofs, similar to mine with shingles I was considering. Great customer service.

Everything he did was great, he had the best offer. He really explained what he was going to do and the pricing for it. He had a really good knowledge of insurance company procedures and dealt with them to assist me.
